Food Industry Disruption:
Affecting our Products, our Customers and our Workforce

The New Jersey food industry is thriving, expanding and evolving at an incredible pace! We are seeing new types of disruptive and innovative food products, a dramatic evolution of our supply chain and our distribution channels, and significant amounts of acquisition activity and venture capital flowing to our industry.

As a result, the theme for the 2018 NJFPA annual conference is extremely timely and is titled: Food Industry Disruption: Affecting our Products, our Customers and our Workforce

We will have three panels and discussions at this year's conference – one panel focused on "product" disruption that will provide perspectives from our investment and venture capital community; one panel on “customers " that will describe innovations occurring in food distribution and marketing, and a third discussion on “workforce” issues that will describe how workforce training can be used to drive business results and transform the culture of a company. In addition, our keynote speaker will be Michele Brown, CEO of Choose New Jersey, with a presentation titled: "New Jersey – Food Capital of America", and she will provide an overview of the tremendous food industry growth we are seeing in New Jersey and the outstanding media coverage that has resulted.

Our conference typically attracts 200-300 attendees, and we also have about 40 exhibitor booths. The NJFPA conference is a "must" conference for anyone doing business or desiring to do business, in the food industry within the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania tri-state region.
